Lục Ngạn District in Bắc Giang Province, known as “the capital of lychee”, will host the “Lục Ngạn Lychee – The Quintessence of Vietnamese Fruit” festival from 6 to 7 June.
Viet Nam’s lychee production hubs have entered the early harvest season this year and is preparing plans for its flagship fruit consumption amid export difficulty due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Viet Nam gained strong growth in lychee exports and the number of enterprises exporting lychee this year against the figures of last year, according to the General Department of Customs.
